Ingredients (Serves 8):

✔ 1 store-bought shortcrust pastry crust (11oz./320g)
✔ 1 tbsp unsalted butter
✔ 8 oz (225g) broccoli florets, chopped
✔ 1 small onion, diced
✔ 2 garlic cloves, minced
✔ 4 large eggs
✔ 6 fl oz (180ml) milk
✔ 4 fl oz (120ml) cream
✔ ½ tsp dried oregano
✔ 1 tsp salt
✔ Fresh ground black pepper
✔ 3 oz (90g) shredded cheddar cheese
✔ 1 oz (30g) shredded Parmesan cheese

How to Make Broccoli Cheddar Quiche:

1️⃣ Pre-Bake the Crust

  • Preheat your oven and pre-bake the shortcrust pastry according to the package instructions.
  • Once done, set the oven to 350°F (180°C).

2️⃣ Sauté the Veggies

  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add broccoli, onion, garlic, and ¼ tsp salt and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.

3️⃣ Prepare the Egg Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, oregano, salt & pepper.

4️⃣ Assemble the Quiche

  • Sprinkle cheddar & Parmesan cheese on the bottom of the pre-baked crust.
  • Add the broccoli mixture on top.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over everything.
